Modern cell phones have an NFC reader. RankPatches have their NFC chip where the NFC 
is located.

How to read RankPatch's NFC:
- Unlock your phone so you can see your home screen.
- Press and hold your phones’ antenna area (Iphone - top of phone , Android - center) to the NFC icon until it reads the NFC.
- A pop-up for a link will appear on your screen, open the link and it will take you to the profile of the person you scanned.
NFC Tips
- NFC’s can take a several seconds to read depending on how strong your phones antenna is.
- Phone cases may make it harder to scan NFC's.
- NFC’s are powered by the phones antenna that is scanning the NFC.
•Yes, our NFC´s are washable so you can keep your gear smelling good!
•The max recommended washing temperature is 104 Degrees Fahrenheit and 40 Degrees Celsius. Air drying is recommended.
- RankPatch goes where you want it to go. There is no rule about which side to wear your rank, even with a belt. For your workout and training gear, stick it where you want it.
The strongest option to attach your RankPatch is to sew your RankPatch on to your gear.
Sewing
- If you are crap at handy stuff, your local dry cleaner or tailor shop can sew them on for you. Its super easy, and they will appreciate the work.
- Sewing Machine:
If you have a sewing machine and know how to use it, get to it, you animal.
- Sewing by hand: We recommend using a 1/8th-inch / 3mm blanket stitch. It's super easy to do and there are a ton of videos on youtube if you need some guidance.
Iron-On
Hard to sew items like gym bags, backpacks, using iron-on adhesive is a good option. And when done correctly, it will hold well and can even be reheated to reset the adhesive if needed.
